Gerina Stevenson, the Mexican child of Rita Stevenson Stevenson and Alan Stevenson Stevenson is birthed in Mexico. She has Mexican roots, yet is American as a national. From the time she was a kid, she's always had a strong interest in playing sports. Gerina first began playing golf at 15 years of age. Gerina has graduated from Goddard High School. The school won the New Mexico State Golf Tournament in her high school years. Also, she played volleyball at the level of state. In the year 2003 she was enrolled in the University of Texas. In her final year, she won every tournament she entered. During the undergraduate seasons, she won the Conference USA's player of the year, as well as UTEP's Female Athletic of the Year.
